Get Answers to Your Pool Furniture Restrapping and Refinishing Questions

Here are our most frequently asked questions. If the information below doesn't answer your pool furniture

refinishing questions, feel free to send us an email to sales@localbenefits.us or give us a call anytime.

Q -

Is my furniture worth re-doing?

If your furniture has surpassed five years and the frames are still in good shape, it is definitely worth refinishing.  The aluminum frames can be sandblasted and powder coated then replace the old faded vinyl straps or slings and your furniture will be as good as new again.

With today's powder coating technology, the finish on the frames can last for a decade or more. If the finish on the frame is still good, you just need to replace the vinyl straps or slings and your furniture will look as good as new at a fraction of the cost of buying new furniture.

Q - How much money will I save by refinishing my pool furniture instead of buying new?

Pool furniture restrapping and refinishing can save you anywhere from 30% -70% of replacement cost.

Q - Why did my vinyl straps get brown spots?

Dirt, dust, suntan oils, tree sap, pool chemicals, insecticidal sprays or other chemicals can react with the sun's rays over a period of time, resulting in spotting. Frequent cleaning with just mild soap and water is your best solution. Florida Restrapping Company uses only virgin vinyl strapping with ultraviolet and mildew inhibitors that resist fading.

Q - Does Florida Restrapping Company use powder coat paint?

Yes. powder coat paint is the same type of paint used by most top patio furniture manufacturers. Oven cured at 400 F, powder coat is three times thicker than liquid paint and resists chipping, fading, and oxidation.

Q - What areas of Florida do you serve?

We serve the entire state of Florida from Key West to Fernandina Beach to Pensacola. We are based in Fort Myers, Florida but serve the east coast, west coast and the panhandle.
